For a day of luxurious, sophisticated pampering, go to the Hacienda Xcanatun spa. Located in what was once one of the largest sisal (agave) plantations in Mexico, the hotel is a restored 18th century, 18-suite, luxury hotel, privately owned and managed by an entrepreneurial couple. The couple has roots not only in the Yucatán Peninsula but to the Mayan world.
